Peter Wold is a senior partner of Wold Oil and manages the Casper office. Mr. Wold is a Landman by background but is integrally involved in all major business decisions. Previously, Mr. Wold served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wyoming Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission (EORC), and is an active member of the Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen (WAPL), the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Petroleum Association of Rocky Mountain States (IPAMS). Mr. Wold grew up in Casper, Wyoming and graduated with a Biological Science degree from Colorado State University in 1971.
Jack Wold is a senior partner at Wold Oil and manages the Denver office. Mr. Wold is a Geologist by trade and is integrally involved in all business decisions at the Company. Prior to 1983, Mr. Wold was a Senior Geologist with Amoco Production Company and an Area Geologist with BWAB, an independent oil and gas company in Denver. Mr. Wold served as President of the Wyoming Geological Association, President of the Rocky Mountain Section of the American Association of Geologists, a Director of the Petroleum Association of Wyoming and the Independent Petroleum Association of the Mountain States (IPAMS). Mr. Wold grew up in Casper, Wyoming and graduated from The Colorado College with a Bachelor's Degree in Geology. Mr. Wold also received his Masters in Geology from Cornell University.
Dave Shellenberger joined Wold Oil in 1983 as Controller and serves as Manager of Accounting and CFO. Mr. Shellenberger is integrally involved in all of the Wold Companies and family assets. Prior to joining the Company, he passed the CPA exam in May of 1978 and began work as a CPA at Macy and Associates Accounting Firm in July of the same year. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in 1978.
Kevin P. Meenan currently serves as General Counsel for the Casper, Wyoming based Wold Companies, including their oil and gas companies, Wold Energy Partners, LLC and Wold Oil Properties, LLC. Previously, Mr. Meenan held the position of Land Manager for Wold Oil Properties. Prior to joining the company, he worked as a consultant and was in private law practice in Casper engaged in a general and trial practice. He was elected and served several terms as the Seventh Judicial District Attorney in Casper where he handled extensive trial work and supervised the most active criminal and juvenile docket in Wyoming. Mr. Meenan was elected President of the National District Attorneys Association – the only Wyoming prosecutor to hold that position. He has served on numerous professional and community boards and commissions, including the Executive Committee of the Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen and the Environmental/E&P Committee of the Petroleum Association of Wyoming.A native of Casper, Wyoming, Mr. Meenan received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in Laramie, Wyoming. He is a member of the Wyoming State Bar, the Natrona County Bar, the ABA, NDAA, Federalist Society and the Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen. He and his wife Deann have four children.
Court Wold is WEP's Finance and Business development role. Mr. Wold manages the Company’s financial relationships, capital structure and business development activities. Previously, Mr. Wold spent four years with Cordillera Energy Partners, III, a private equity sponsored operating company focused on developing oil and gas reserves in the Anadarko Basin. At Cordillera, he was responsible for financial modeling, investor relations, capital planning, and midstream development evaluations. Additionally, Mr. Wold spent three years in the energy and industrials group of Headwaters MB, an investment bank offering M&A advisory services. Presently, he also serves as a founding member of Summit Royalties, a mineral and royalty investment company in Denver. Mr. Wold is a graduate of The Colorado College with a degree in Economics and Business.
